RAP

Reflections and Perception (RAP) is an hour-long women's discussion group that meets at 1:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month.  RAP aims to share knowledge, viewpoints, and opinions on a wide variety of topics in a comfortable and enlightened environment. This lively group writes two or three timely, thought-provoking questions on the board and spends the hour discussing the posted subjects.

Story Times

Toddler Time is held Every 2nd Tuesday of the Month with 2 show times:  10:30 and 4:10. This program combines stories, songs, crafts, games and activities for pre-school children and their parents or caregivers.  No need for reservations, just come prepared to sit on the floor with your child and have fun!

Hooks and Needles

A local hobby/craft club! Every Friday until 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. All knitters and crocheters are welcome. Beginners are welcome!

 M & L Sanitation Service Ribbon Cutting - December 15, 2017

Join us in welcoming the newest business in our community, M& L Sanitation Service! The Ribbon Cutting will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Elberton Civic Center, 148 College Ave, at 3:30 P.M.!
They offer 2-50gal cans picked up once a week for $20 a month, with additional cans at $7 each. With senior citizens and 1st responders and military discounts are $17 a month with additional cans at $5. They try and buy everything they can in Elbert County to keep the revenue in the County. They are your friendly trash collection service. The people of Elbert County deserves to be treated like friends not just customers. Thanks and God Bless

Smoked Pork Sale – December 16, 2017

 

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is selling whole smoked pork butts for $35. Pick-up is on December 16 between 10AM and 1 PM at HTLC. This would be a nice Christmas gift or they could be frozen to eat at a later time. You won't be disappointed. Please let us know if you are interested in purchasing a ticket or tickets.

Play House Give-A-Way – December 22, 2017

 

Deadline is December 19 and Give-A-Way is December 22

Rules: Child must live at the location that the Playhouse will be delivered. If renting, landlord permission must be obtained. Playhouse cannot be delivered to an apartment complex. Child must not be older than 10 years old. Entries must be received by Tuesday, December 19th.

Twilight Stroll by the Granite Bowl! – January 5, 2018

"Enjoy it with your Family!"

Fun Run, 5K and 10.1 K Road Race!

Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Elberton Arts Center off the square in downtown Elberton, Ga. (Behind the Elbert Theatre) "Fun Run" begins at 7:00 p.m., 5K begins at 7:30p.m. and the 10.1 K begins at 8:30 p.m.

NOTE: All runners that participate in the 10.1K must be able to walk/run a 13 minute mile.

$300 to the first runner who beats last record set for 10.1K winning time. The winning time was 33:25. The 10.K finish line will close after 1 Hour and 30 Minutes.
